I’ve been going to Merit Dental in Kalamazoo for approximately 5 years. Before that I was at Merit in Portage. The dentists and their skills have always met my needs. The turnover in dentists is uncomfortable and I’ve thought of changing to a more stable practice, BUT the support staff and assistants at Merit Kalamazoo are literally the best I have ever seen. Regardless of the dentist, I know the staff will take care of me and my dental needs. The office manager, receptionists, assistants, and hygienists keep me coming back and make life as a senior the best it could be. Thank You

I do NOT recommend this office. From the rude front desk manager to the old, outdated, rooms and dental equipment from the early 1990’s. I had a broken tooth and they said to go visit Aspen Dental for fixation. I recommend you do the same. Save money and deal with real professionals at ASPEN Dental on westnedge.

Ok so, here we go! I have 2 young kids (who basically live off of chicken nuggets and icecream) & aren’t too fond of dentists/doctors- HOWEVER we took both of them here and the staff is SO kind and made the ENTIRE experience so much fun for them, they are actually looking forward to their next appt in 6months. They were super gentle and made the visit one giant “game” for them to earn goodies for home! I never in my life have seen or been to a place that is so kid friendly & kid welcoming! Now for me, I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years (I know….) and for the same reasons but again this practice and the staff had made my appt not only enjoyable, relaxing (surprisingly) and after it was over, I am looking forward to my 6mo checkup with them. They were very endearing, professional and kept the mood light which was a nice change from what I’ve experienced in the past with OTHER dental offices. Overall, HIGHLY recommend!??

When I had to go to the Dentist I would get sick to my stomach,not sleep the night prior and try everything to not go. I found Dr Magnuson 2 years ago.Aafter my first visit I changed the whole family. We never knew there really were Dentist that cared. After meeting with Dr Magnuson's staff it was determined that I needed extensive dental wor.k I went in for replacement of 5 front fillings. I was offered a CD player,headphones a blanket to keep me warm and nitrous oxide ( which I had never had before) This was the best experience I had ever had at a Dentist. I no longer get anxiety prior to going ( If I do, the caring and calming staff change that) Going to the Dentist is a breeze now. It is no longer an issue thanks to Dr Magnuson and his whole staff they have changed my feelings towards dentists. THANK YOU Bonnie Battle Creek
