Two generations have been going there, and it has become and absolute joke. Daughter went for a root canal almost two years ago. Recently, had to go to the ER for pain and infection.couldnt get into merit so went somewhere else and found out they missed 5 roots and only pit half a crown on it. She finally got back in to merit, almost a month later, and they wanted her to pay to have it redone. They finally agreed to do it for free,but when she got there, they said they couldn't do it and want to send her to a different place, where she will have to pay for it. I understand a mistake, everyone makes them, and I'm sure a root canal isn't as easy as one would think. If you make a mistake FIX IT. This has been a complete joke not to mention all the wasted time and money. So disappointing

Rebecca is the best Hygienist. New doctor, Dan is friendly and does great work so it's hard for me to criticize the staff. However, Merit's billing is shady and I feel like I was robbed. They adjust their fees depending on the insurance you provide them. Just call them and ask what they charge for a crown. I'm not talking about my portion of what's owed, I mean the FEE for service is adjusted. I have a pre-treatment estimate that lists the fee for a crown at $1,074 and another that lists the fee as $1720. A 62% difference! We'll all pay different amounts because of in network, out of network, no insurance, etc. but the initial FEE CHARGED for the service should be the same for everyone then let insurance figure out what they're paying.

Would not recommend going here. This place is nothing like it was when Dr. Marcucci was the dentist. He knew you and did not push for procedures that were unnecessary. They refused to re-glue a crown. The crown was not broken and the tooth in question was not causing any pain. Instead they suggested a $3000 or $6000 procedure They are all about money not about customer service.

Merit Dental called me last week for me to reschedule my appointment which was fine with me. I'm getting married at the end of this month and I had my appointment set up for before I get married. I spoke with Steve over the phone in discussion with finding a day still before I get married that would work and every time I spoke or said something he would laugh at me. He did this several time and I ended up calling later and cancelled my appointment that I made. Horrible customer service and am not coming back. I was so frustrated and mad.

I'm retired without Dental insurance. Merit offered a great initial service package for exam, full x-rays and cleaning in my first appointment on 3-January.. All elements of their service was of highest quality and detail: cleaning, dentist's exam and x-rays. Ashley even mentioned Merit is looking into a dental discount program for uninsured customers at a nominal annual cost. It was mentioned that program might be available as soon as late March, so I am very interest in that Merit option, when available for my wife and myself.
