I needed to have a crown replaced and Merit has become my dental office since my other dentist quit taking my insurance. The ladies in the office, front and back, are very nice, caring, and understanding. The dentist is very nice and very concerned with how you are feeling during a procedure. He is also very nice and caring. It has taken me a little while to get used to they way they do things cause I had my old dentist so long, but they are a perfect replacement!!

Listennn Amber is a GODSEND I hadn’t been to the dentist in 4+ years and I was very nervous to return. Amber did all my scans and she was VERY personable and patient. That really eased my worries. Marital dental services are beyond doubt, I came to know this place for the first time when I gotta molar removal and cleaning as well. All working staff are easygoing, friendly, and welcoming. I have a family dentist but was in need of a root canal and Merit Dental is in my network. I suffer from anxiety and at times have panic attacks if I'm in an unfamiliar location surrounded by complete strangers, this was that situation. From the moment I walked in the door, one by one "ALL" of who I came in contact with were so unbelievably nice and friendly. They put me at complete ease and I immediately knew my medical issues were not going to be a problem. Now on to the root canal itself, the crown should be put on next week and I'm hoping everything goes as well as the root canal...... I experienced no pain at all during and very very little in the days following the procedure. I believe I have found a new dentist office, (AMBER) initially started my visit with x-rays & pictures (she was awesome at her job but a better human being). Then (CHERYL) started digging around prepping me for the procedure ( what a sweet pretty southern Texas accent ). (Dr ALKHATIB) did the procedure and he extremely nice, polite and professional-- he continuously thanked Cheryl throughout my procedure as she assisted him, and constantly asked me if I was okay. Upon checking out (SEREENA) went above and beyond in her attempt to help me with ways get help with the balance as the cost exceeded the amount of coverage I have. She was incredible and her care for patients is undeniable. And finally, DIANNA at the front desk...... she greats and treats you with a big smile and she herself came into my open room area and talked to me a couple of times while I was waiting (above and beyond what I would have ever expected). LOOK, I DO NOT KNOW ANY OF THESE FOLKS.....PERIOD! BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A DENTIST OR THINKING OF CHANGING DENTISTS, GIVE THEM A TRY.... I REALLY THINK YOU WILL BE PLEASED.

I am a new patient at Merit Dental and beyond pleased with my experience! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I have several dental and health issues, and the staff spent over an hour with me during my initial consultation. After my exam and X-rays, I set up an appointment to have a specialized cleaning. My previous dentist outsourced that cleaning to a specialist. It is wonderful to know that the staff at Merit Dental can provide the care I need under one skilled dentist. Merit Dental’s prices are reasonable, and they offer special pricing for people that don’t have insurance. I received a free Oral B electric toothbrush, too! I have had a phobia of getting the shots in the mouth from other dentists because it hurt so bad. That experience caused me to not want to go to the dentist for a long time. My experience on Sept. 8 with Dr AL & assistant Tonya was excellent. When Dr AL gave me my shots in the mouth I barely felt it. Now Iam much at ease about going back to the dentist. I have always had a phobia about going to the dentist and have finally overcome that fear especially today. After a little bit of waiting for them to seek a new dentist at Merit Dental it was well worth the wait. Dr. Al is so professional, compassionate and very thorough with his work. He truly cares about each and everyone of his patients. I felt relaxed and so comfortably numb today after three fillings. Lol. Love, Love, Love this place! From the moment you walk in the staff is so kind and helpful. The assistants and hygienists are so kind and amazing. I have kids ranging from 14-3 years old. And the staff is always so upbeat, matching the kids’ energy. They’re telling them what they’re going to do next and educating them on what it’s for. When I come in it almost feels like I’m hanging out with the girls lol. They have great music choice on and everything is so clean. They were without a doctor for a few months, and I still waited bc that’s how much we love coming here. I dreaded the thought of having to go somewhere else. Merit Dental is professional yet very friendly. They will be direct about rules such as wearing a mask while in the facility and not in a chair being the patient. They are friendly and generally interested about you as a person as well as a patient. Work to be done by them is explained with a follow-up if understood and acceptable to proceed. This is a good time to ask any questions, which are always explained. It is a comfortable environment and if say you need a pillow, they will provide you one. They work with confidence explaining as they go what's being done. Patients dental needs are inspected, logged into the system, along with necessary x-ray images. The technician, explains all findings to the dentist while she inspects your mouth concurrently. All yor dental needs are explained including any needs you require to be provided by a specialist. Pricing of work needed along with a timeline and in what order work will be performed. It's all a comfortable experience with little to no pain. I like the people, they're processes they use and the results in my oral health. Work required is spaced out over time so you aren't in a chair for hours at a time. Overall I am very pleased with the results. Planning of visits are suited to your needs as well as they're openings. All pricing is explained after first exam and prior to any work. It's all been a positive experience with great results. I have no problem in referring friends, family and anyone reading this post to meet the people at Merit Dental and learn for yourself the positive process and results you'll receive. It's been great for me. 2/8/22 I still believe everything I posted previously. The medical staff of Merit Dental continues towards making every effort that ensures I have a comfortable and positive outcome, from txt reminders well before I have an appointment with follow-ups which I am in need of. The greeting is pleasant, the waiting room is clean, and the appt time and time I'm in the chair, no one can complain about. Technically they're great , and I am thankful that NO filling stops my being able to floss without resistance or tearing of the floss. Sounds like no big deal, but it is another "little" thing that I'm thankful for. And I've had plenty of fillings that makes this no "little" thing. They're willingness to put in the work to save a tooth "or more", and I cherish this. Thank you all for moving me to better oral management at home. I am thankful.

I am new to this office. I’m very pleased with the service and staff. Our first appointments were cleanings. They are very patient with my 3 yr old with her first experience. They also made it fun for her. The doctor does a great job with the numbing process, which to me, is the most important part. I’ve had the same dental assistant who repaired fillings and did very well. They are informative on what needs to be done in the future and encourage scheduling before you leave.

Everyone is so nice and friendly. You can tell that they try to make the visit as comfortable as possible. They provide sunglasses so your eyes don't hurt from the light (and you feel less like they are right in your face, even though they have to be in your face). Plus, she numbed the gums with numbing cream, gives a small shot of novacaine, waits to let it take effect and then did the rest of the novacaine. Made that part of it so much more pleasant. I always dread the shots...but this time it was no issue. Thank you!

The staff are wonderful from the front desk to doctor! I called as a new patient, received an appointment within a week. I knew I had a ton of work to be done and was extremely nervous as I’ve only had cleanings. They thoroughly explained everything and helped put me at ease. Today at 42 I had my first filling and to top it off I had 4 scheduled. They walked me through everything as they were doing it and stopped throughout, checking to make sure I was not in any pain or uncomfortable. Even stating that I did not have to commit to 4 in one sitting. I Absolutely would recommend them. I live in Lowell, but work in Portage which is convenient for me. My husband will be swapping dentists because they are worth the 50 minute drive!

I have been to this office twice in the last 6 weeks. One visit was for a cleaning with Tammie. She was friendly and did a very good job. I was pleased with her work. When I get my teeth cleaned, I always feel sorry for that poor soul who is getting worked on with that high pitched drill. Well, last week I had my first filling in 15 years. It was actually pain free and also went very well. The dentist and her assistants worked as a coordinated team. Nice folks at this office. My wait time was 2 minutes.

The office is very clean and modern. I appreciate the fact that I never have to wait to be seen. Tammy, the dental hygienist is great. She’s very thorough and takes time to answer all of my questions. She also focuses on preventative care. I’ve recommended this office to many people and they’ve also been pleased with their experiences at Merit.

This is the first time I have written a Google review for anyone but it is deserving. I had nothing but great experiences while going to Merit Dental. The team was great and did a great job keeping me calm during all of my appointments and answered all of my questions. Especially Jasmine!!! She took care of my younger daughter during her procedure and kept her calm as well!! She was awesome!!! I will continue to go there and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I finally bit the bullet and stopped putting off going to have some much needed dental work done and I gotta say I love it here! I was nervous at first because it had been so long since my last dental visit and I hadn't been taking the best care of my teeth. The staff here are very patient, personable and non judgmental. Danielle, the dentist, and Tonia, the hygienist, walked me through everything that was being done and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. The office is quiet and clean. I've had four visits in the last two months and have never had to wait long in the reception room. Also, it wasn't too hard to schedule appointments that fit around my work and school schedule since they offer evening appointments on some days. I just wish that I found this place sooner!

Not sure how to express the excellent, mindful, respectful and incredible professionalism Dr. Danielle and her staff deliver each and every time! She is the model of what a dentist should be. Never will go anywhere else. Her attention to the critical aspects in patient care far surpass expectation. Every review should be 5 star! Dr. Danielle and her team fixed 10 years of dental neglect due to lack of insurance. I needed a crown, 8 fillings and 2 wisdom teeth removed when I walked in. The icing on the cake is that I have TMJ and my jaw locks up. Sometimes I could only do 1 filling at a time. I had about 10 appointments in 7 months. They were patient and compassionate. I'm so thankful for my dental health back!!

Over the years I’ve had quite a bit of dental work done from multiple dentists, but I can honestly say that I’ve never had more relaxed, painfree, and...dare I say...enjoyable visits than those I’ve had with Dr. Bube. You won’t find a sweeter dentist who really cares about her patients. She has a gift for dentistry and that makes my long commute to see her so incredibly worth it. I cannot say enough about Dr. Bube and how much she has helped me. To add to that, her entire office is just so pleasant - Tonia and Dar have both worked on my teeth and both wonderful experiences.
