I think Merritt is the best dentist everyone was so kind to me and knowledgeable. The first employee told me I have good insurance and should get an implant. I went ahead with the procedure unknowingly that this procedure required a pre authorization. After the first phase of the procedure , when I went back for the second phase I was told that my insurance does not.cover the procedure and I have to pay out of pocket. Went I went back they told me that they will not continue until I make the payment. I feel misled

So I came in to the office today for a appointment I had scheduled over a year and the office manager canceled the appointment because I didn’t confirm it… if I call up and cancel an appointment that is one thing but to cancel an appointment because I can’t respond to you is horrible customer service I’ve been going to this office for three years an never have I ever been treated so horribly and instead of trying to be understanding and saying let me see what I can do for you and squeeze you in she kept arguing with me. Mind you I called in 1-2 weeks ago to confirm my appointment which should have been good enough ..: then when I asked for her boss she refused to have her boss reach out to me… disgusted with there policy … you know some people work a lot and don’t have time to answer the phone or email and so they just come to an appointment

The hygienist and dentist were absolutely amazing and I’m disappointed I will be changing offices. Front of house staff made scheduling and communicating insurance changes despicable; Rude, impatient, and disorganized - put your ego aside and be compassionate care takers - it’s your JOB as a customer service/front desk personnel. Tried to make appts In march and again in September and received inexcusable interactions both times to the point of hanging up on them and canceling all appointments.

absolutely the worst at making appointments and keeping them...confirmed appointment by text and calling office speaking with management directly just to show up to confirmed appoint. time , signed in and waited 1 hr before i had to ask how much longer with there response being appoint. was canceled and needs rescheduled!!!! guess signing in on clipboard wasn't enough acknowledgement to identify the problem with appointment so sat there and wasted my time before i had to address issue... if you cross my name off sign in list check your computer and do you job !!!! office manager proceeded to blame me for the scheduling issue.. this has happened the last 3 times i have made appointments.... what a waste of time and extremely unprofessional... try working with customer to remedy issues instead of blaming customers for office short coming. i dont recommend this branch now or ever again.

As someone who has really bad anxiety when going to any doctor I was so nervous in the waiting room. When I was called back I let the assistant know and she was so comforting and understanding. She said “what can I do to make you feel better” I told her and luckily it was something she could do! I felt so much better and when the doctor came in he let me know right away about my x-rays (no waiting and worrying more), what next steps were, exactly what he was going to do and why. Super friendly and just really put me at ease. Very thankful to the team at Merit Dental!

From the start when my wife and I called we had an awful experience. Then we decide to give them a try. Today we went to the appointment and they didn’t even have us in the system. They wanted to squeeze me in but said that couldn’t squeeze my daughter in. They dis my xrays and then wanted me to go to front desk. Then they said they cannot include my daughter for today. The office manager was rude and wanted to charge me dor the xrays even when I said I was not planning on staying anymore due to the bad experience. I've been going here since I've been a child, but in the recent years, it's definitely been going downhill. As far as dental stuff, they do a fine job, the challenge is actually getting in. My appointments regularly get rescheduled. My last 4 (yes, 4!) appointments have been rescheduled, and today when I went in for my appointment, I was told that it had been rescheduled again, and I was never notified. They said I digitally confirmed it, but I never received an email, text, or phone call about rescheduling. Needless to say, I was frustrated. I've seen a lot of turnover of dentists and dental hygienists there, as well, so I wonder if that's the cause of all the rescheduling and appointment cancellations? Either way, I will be looking for a new dentist.

The past 3 years I have had a horrible experience. They constantly cancel and have to reschedule and cannot get you in until three - six months later. Now to find out, I have a horrible cavity that they never caught which may need a root canal. This is unacceptable! I would NOT recommend this place at all! Bad, Bad & Bad. Went in for a cleaning, girl broke my tooth! Cleaning was less than 5 minutes. Because tooth now broke, needed fixed was told it would be 100% covered by insurance. Was charged for a Deep Cleaning. Never happened. Got tooth fixed. Received bill for more than $100. If you tell some it will be 100% covered, then you should NOT turn around and bill me!!! This office wanted me to wait nearly 2 years between dental cleanings like it was no big deal.

I had one appointment in 2017 here and staff was ok. Very small not updated the floor sinks in and make noise every step. Today is April 14th 2020 I received a call to pay a $55 bill or it will go to collection. Im not upset that they want a payment. I find it very distasteful, and inhumane during a government shut down you asking for a payment. You know how many Americans applied for unemployment? My job has been shut down for over 2 months! We are worrying about how to eat and remain a roof over our heads. Thank god my landlord and bill companies has says no payment until May, no late fees, or interest! Being as though I have not been a patient for over 2 years and only had one visit. If your trying to find work for your employees i rather you call with a sense of empathy. Example: "Good afternoon I hope you and your family is well during this time. But could we get updated information looks like we have not seen you in a while and also an balance."

Extremely thorough and caring. Ruth (hygienist) takes pride in her work. She is both kind and delightful to be around. Friendliness abounds from the moment you step into the office. Staff is unprofessional and unequipped to deal with children. Dentist is impatient and one of the nurses was obnoxious and loud. They did not put an anesthetic on my child's tooth prior to filling a cavity. The dentist walked out mid-procedure, after she experienced a panic attack, and threw me a referral to a pediatric dentist.
