I enjoy spending time with family, photography, lecturing, boating in Saugatuck, snow skiing, biking, and hiking through the sand dunes along Lake Michigan.
My team and I are focused on providing exceptional Contemporary dental care to all our patients as well as advanced Implant, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Dentistry. You can find me exploring nature with my husband, and two dogs (Sunnie and Freyja) or curled up at home on the couch with our cat (Babs) reading a book, or finishing a Sudoku puzzle. I also enjoy taking on DIY projects, crocheting, sewing, upholstering, painting, and woodworking. My husband and I love traveling. Last year we drove cross-country from Maine to California, on a 30-day camping trip. More recently we spent a week in Yellowstone National Park. Additionally we enjoy music and Broadway shows. I’ve played the piano since I was in kindergarten.
I strive to provide comprehensive oral health care through excellent dental work and patient-driven treatment plans. I believe that everyone has a right to understand and ask questions about their oral health; therefore I make sure to take the time to talk with my patients and listen to their concerns. The turnover in dentists is uncomfortable and I’ve thought of changing to a more stable practice, BUT the support staff and assistants at Merit Kalamazoo are literally the best I have ever seen. Regardless of the dentist, I know the staff will take care of me and my dental needs. The office manager, receptionists, assistants, and hygienists keep me coming back and make life as a senior the best it could be. Thank You

Ok so, here we go! I have 2 young kids (who basically live off of chicken nuggets and icecream) & aren’t too fond of dentists/doctors- HOWEVER we took both of them here and the staff is SO kind and made the ENTIRE experience so much fun for them, they are actually looking forward to their next appt in 6months. They were super gentle and made the visit one giant “game” for them to earn goodies for home! I never in my life have seen or been to a place that is so kid friendly & kid welcoming! Now for me, I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years (I know….) and for the same reasons but again this practice and the staff had made my appt not only enjoyable, relaxing (surprisingly) and after it was over, I am looking forward to my 6mo checkup with them. They were very endearing, professional and kept the mood light which was a nice change from what I’ve experienced in the past with OTHER dental offices. Overall, HIGHLY recommend!

When you fell that the prices are a bit steep they explain to you why they are and sometimes help you out on the bill. I have been in customers service business for 10+ years and its refreshing to visit a place where the staff is dress professionally and the energy is always upbeat. Keep it up guys.

I found Dr Magnuson 2 years ago.Aafter my first visit I changed the whole family. We never knew there really were Dentist that cared. After meeting with Dr Magnuson's staff it was determined that I needed extensive dental wor.k I went in for replacement of 5 front fillings. I was offered a CD player,headphones a blanket to keep me warm and nitrous oxide ( which I had never had before) This was the best experience I had ever had at a Dentist. I no longer get anxiety prior to going ( If I do, the caring and calming staff change that) Going to the Dentist is a breeze now. It is no longer an issue thanks to Dr Magnuson and his whole staff they have changed my feelings towards dentists. THANK YOU Bonnie Battle Creek
