I’ve been going to Merit Dental my entire life! When I was little into my early teen years, they had a “no cavity club” for pediatric patients — if you didn’t have a cavity, you’d get a sticker and a photo taken, with your photo put on the wall for the “no cavity club” (plus a goodie bag). I had a gap in care due to insurance changes and being gone for college. I was super nervous to go back after this gap in care. I explained my fears to my hygienist. After the appointment (and no cavities), I asked if they still gave out no cavity stickers (even though I’m no longer a little kid). My hygienist went out of her way to make the little girl in me super happy and found me a sticker and a complimentary goodie. Thank you for making my day and making my nerves go away. Highly recommend going here — happy lifetime patient with a staff that truly cares.

Faith is absolutely amazing, Raven makes you feel welcomed from the onset and Dr Nour does not pressure dental procedures. I was recommended to have a crown placed, and Dr Nour said “we will just monitor it” because I wasn’t ready for that expense. From my 3 year old to me at 32 this office has absolutely cared for us like we were the only patients. We are Merit Dental patients.

Faith is the absolute best hygienist out there. Not only did she make me feel welcomed and comfortable, she had me laughing and showing off my smile the entire time. Faith is is extremely intelligent and thorough as explained every step in my visit. Never have I wanted to go back to the dentist more than after my experience at Merit Dental. My daughter and I had a great experience here. The atmosphere was calm and the dental hygienist was very friendly and chatty. I usually hate going to the dentist, but the cleaning went quickly and the staff made it a positive day.
I was a little taken back when I showed up for my appointment. My dentist retired as well as my dental hygienist. I as never imformed of thier retirement. However Sandy is amazing. I feel very comfortable with her.

His assistants, Heather and Abby, are also very kind and gentle. They help to diminish the fear(s) around going to the dentist. I am grateful for Merit and would recommend them.
Dr. Nicholson and her colleagues have done 17 fillings and 1 root canal for me in a span of 9 months. Yes, I started from a rough place. But in that time my smile has gone from "Scary Clown" to a-ok. I was never subjected to a long wait or a reschedule even with all the pandemic issues still troubling modern healthcare. The Dr. and assistants were kind, delightful, and gentle at every visit (and there have been many). My 4 year old daughter is also a patient and loves it there. Great family dentistry practice that I would recommend to anyone.

I haven't lived close to Merit Dental for over 6 years, yet I refuse to go anywhere else since becoming a patient more than a decade ago. Bridget and Dr Kindler (now Nicholson, I think?) Are efficient, gentle, and just pleasant to be around. Also, Bridget is always hilarious which helps my anxiety. I have chronic migraines that greatly impact my ability to get dental care comfortably. THE ENTIRE MERIT STAFF CONSISTENTLY GOES OUT OF ITS WAY TO ENSURE MY COMFORT. ALWAYS. My last visit, I needed a custom mouth guard that my insurance doesn't cover. Dr Nicholson worked with me on cost, giving me a generous price break. Being on disability, I can't express how much I appreciate that. Merit dental is just THE BEST in every way. Now, if you guys could just go around to my other doctors' offices and help them all treat patients with the same overall care that you do....

I was in this morning for 2 fillings that fell out. I had a Dentist (sorry, forget his name, Don I think) that was in from Louisville to help out due to the office being short staffed and he and his assistant were awesome! He asked if I felt I needed numbing (which I didn't think I did), rather than just doing so, and put in the 2 fillings very successfully without any pain. He took his time, ensured that everything was good and it was a fantastic experience. I don't mind be numbed if needed, but since he asked a few questions and didn't think he needed to do so, I appreciated this. Thank-you very much, it was a great experience!!

I have been so happy with the quality, service, and professionalism of Dr.Retherford and ALL of his staff that I too have recommended friends and family. Over the years the business has changed and additional Dentists have joined the practice who have also been of equal caliber. You can not go wrong choosing Merit Dental of Westerville. I love them and appreciate their personal and caring touch. I'm no wimp but I still want the most gentle dental experience I can get. No one gives a less painful Novacaine shot!!!! Choose right! I love the staff at the Westerville location. They always do their best to make me feel comfortable with what can be an uncomfortable (for some people) trip to the dds. Dr. Kindler and my hygienist Brigitte are always a hoot. Hopefully they'll keep my smiling for years to come!

First visit there for X-rays and a cleaning: fast and not at all painful, as it has sometimes been the case at other dentists in the past. Nice, friendly service.
Without a doubt the best dental office that I have had the pleasure to work with. The staff are always friendly and their professionalism and expertise are outstanding. I lived in Westerville when I first started going to this practice. When I moved to Tipp City ten years ago, I could have chosen another practice in my area but I chose to stay at this practice. The drive is worth it....so if you are looking for a new practice, this is the one to call.

Wonderful people, expert care. Very little waiting. I began coming here after my dentist of 30+ years retired, and I have never regretted that decision. It's a ways for me to drive (45 minutes), but it's worth it.

Have been using Dr. Retherford and his associates for the past 7 years and have always been very satisfied with his services. Yesterday I required "immediate" services after experiencing several days of symptoms and was able to be seen in less than one hour. After a thorough inspection, it appeared the source of my discomfort may have been linked to a sinus problem (of which I received some good advice upon, also). Dr. Retherford explained what the most likely of possibilities were. 24+ hours later I have returned to more normal conditions. You usually don''t think of your Dental Services on an ER basis, however, it's nice to know that they're available.

So I kept searching online, and then I found Merit Dental. It is not very close to where I am living right now, but the reviews are good. So I decided to try. It is very easy to make an appointment through phone call. And then I went to the clinic and have my teeth cleaned and checked. For a new patient, the waiting time is very short compared to other places. And the service is great. People in the clinic are very nice and patient. They really care their patient, and very honest about the treatment you need. I was very satisfied. So I decided to choose Merit Dental as my continuous dental care. Right now my husband also has his treatment here.

Last week I needed to have a molar replaced by a crown due to part of the tooth breaking off. I have been patient at Spring Grove Dental Care for the last two years, but this was the first significant dental procedure that I required. I recalled that having a crown made and installed would take time, and I would experience some degree of discomfort. Dr. Christine Kindler and her technician, Stacy, completely eliminated my misapprehensions. In two hours, they diagnosed, modified the damaged tooth, molded, and fine tuned the temporary crown with a bare minimum of discomfort. I have experienced more discomfort in having fillings done at other dentists than I did on this occasion. Dr. Kindler and Stacy frequently asked how I was doing and made clear how I should signal them if I did not feel right. They exhibited a high degree of professionalism while demonstrating a caring and personable "bedside" manner. I definitely felt I was in good hands. So I recommend Spring Grove Dental Care without reservation.
