I have nothing but the highest praise for all the employees at Merit Dental. From the courteous reminder calls the day before each appointment, to the warm welcome at the front desk, the support staff is terrific. I received a fantastic care from Dr. Habib Ghorbaniparvar, who has recently left the practice. He was a kind and caring man. Fortunately, I am now under the care of Dr Dan Hagigi, who is also warm and personable and very professional. Gina, one of the dental assistants, is consistently thorough, very knowledgeable, and a kind and caring person. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

I have been coming to this office for many years. This place used to be amazing. When the ownership changed a year ago, the place went bad fast. The desk staff is rude, and scheduling an appointment was done with eye rolls when i asked for a different day, and a rudely stated answer to another simple question. The hygenists are okay, but the general feel in the office went from obviously satisfied staff with good attitudes to staff just there to get a pay check. Gone are the pleasantries and kindness. Go somwhere else.

They told me I needed 9 fillings. I consulted a different dentist and they said I needed 2. I decided not to get them all filled (of course) and had to go back 3 times for tooth pain and they kept telling me it was the bite being off. Anyway I leave to go on vacation and one of my fillings falls out! I still have tooth pain and now I'm missing half of my tooth. Never going back, wish my old dentist never sold his company.

Merit Dental is undergoing a lot of personnel changes. The new dentists leave a lot to be desired. I was blindsided at my appt today when my dentist refused to give me my Invisaligners unless I agreed to another very expensive procedure. I said that I would be happy to schedule the procedure in 2 months when my Invisaligner program was over. Although I have paid for the Invisaligners in full and the former dentists I saw were in agreement with my treatment the new dentist refused to give me the Invisaligners. Totally unprofessional. I was warned about the new female dentist before I even saw her several weeks ago. I will not return to this office.

Wrote raving review 5 months ago... Now a 1 star. Had a filling pop off. Set appointment right away. Went in for missing filling left with a onlay. Paid $713 out of pocket because they were out of network. Had no idea there would be more to pay. 5 months later being asked for another $621. Should of found somewhere in network and less money hungry. Should of just replaced the filling. That's what you get for trusting...Don't make the same mistake I did.

The hygienists here are absolutely fantastic, and the one I always see is no exception. I couldn't speak highly enough of a dentist office, and I genuinely credit them for being a large part in helping me rid myself of my dentist anxiety. Very glad a place like this is in business. ------ Original review from 2013: I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I started off with severe dental anxiety my first visit, but they treated me very well (even with as much of a wuss as I was being). I was referred to an amazing surgeon for my wisdom teeth by Dr. Pavicic, and have been coming here ever since for all of my dental work. They are always on the spot to call you when they say they will. I've never had a problem with the dentist's work, and they're always quick and professional. I could not recommend them more.

And I really love the paraffin hand treatments I get (for free!) during my teeth cleaning. Even after moving in the opposite direction, I still travel over 30 minutes to stay with Five Points! The appointment was within 2 days of discovering the problem and it was fixed within an hour of arriving at the office. Thank you.

They are up front about costs and procedures and seem to genuinely care about every patient. Their exams are extremely thorough (oral cancer, etc.) And the water system they use for cleaning your teeth--the best thing since sliced bread! They have all of the latest and greatest tools that make all of the difference. They even offer free water and juices while you wait and offer a heated neck pillow while they work on you! Hi praises for Five Points!

I have been coming to this office for many years. This place used to be amazing. When the ownership changed a year ago, the place went bad fast. The desk staff is rude, and scheduling an appointment was done with eye rolls when i asked for a different day, and a rudely stated answer to another simple question. The hygenists are okay, but the general feel in the office went from obviously satisfied staff with good attitudes to staff just there to get a pay check. Gone are the pleasantries and kindness. Go somwhere else.

They told me I needed 9 fillings. I consulted a different dentist and they said I needed 2. I decided not to get them all filled (of course) and had to go back 3 times for tooth pain and they kept telling me it was the bite being off. Anyway I leave to go on vacation and one of my fillings falls out! I still have tooth pain and now I'm missing half of my tooth. Never going back, wish my old dentist never sold his company.

Merit Dental is undergoing a lot of personnel changes. The new dentists leave a lot to be desired. I was blindsided at my appt today when my dentist refused to give me my Invisaligners unless I agreed to another very expensive procedure. I said that I would be happy to schedule the procedure in 2 months when my Invisaligner program was over. Although I have paid for the Invisaligners in full and the former dentists I saw were in agreement with my treatment the new dentist refused to give me the Invisaligners. Totally unprofessional. I was warned about the new female dentist before I even saw her several weeks ago. I will not return to this office.

Wrote raving review 5 months ago... Now a 1 star. Had a filling pop off. Set appointment right away. Went in for missing filling left with a onlay. Paid $713 out of pocket because they were out of network. Had no idea there would be more to pay. 5 months later being asked for another $621. Should of found somewhere in network and less money hungry. Should of just replaced the filling. That's what you get for trusting...Don't make the same mistake I did.
