Merit Dental Partners with Northwoods League

Sponsorship of 2014 baseball season highlights Merit Dental’s commitment to local community and overall health

Merit Dental has signed an agreement with the Northwoods League to be an official league sponsor during the 2014 baseball season.

“We’re excited to partner with an organization such as the Northwoods League, which emphasizes strong athleticism and the overall health of its players and fans,” said Dr. Jeff Moos, Chief Dental Officer, Merit Dental. “The Northwoods League sponsorship provides a unique opportunity to raise awareness about dental health and good oral hygiene amongst baseball enthusiasts of all ages.”

The Battle Creek Bombers and Kalamazoo Growlers teams are located near the Portage, Mich., Merit Dental office.

“With two teams located near Merit Dental – Portage, it was a natural fit to partner with the Northwoods League,” said Karen Flug, Chief Operating Officer, Merit Dental. “Besides proximity, the Northwoods League’s mission to enrich the quality of life in its member communities is consistent with Merit Dental’s commitment to staying active in the communities we serve.”

As part of the sponsorship, Merit Dental announcements will be integrated into team games throughout the season. In addition, Merit Dental – Portage will offer fans opportunities to win Bombers and Growlers tickets.
