As a new patient at Merit Dental-Brunswick, OH., I was highly impressed at the onset of my initial consult with the professionalism of not only the Administrative personnel, but also with various Hygienists, X-Ray Techs, and of course the highly skillsets (both teaching and operative) of Dr. Mark Paly. My 1st time procedure with Dr. Paly went extremely well, with him explaining each of his procedural steps as they unfolded, always mindful of patient care during that process, and being extremely gentle and reassuring that each of the steps were leading to a successful result. After my procedure was complete, Dr. Paly explained in detail on post operative care, an open invitation to call anytime with questions or concerns, which certainly added to my assurance that I had definitely chosen a fantastic dental facility for my procedure. Dr. Balski is the best dentist I’ve ever been to absolutely love her. The office staff and billing experiences have something to be desired. Since they became Merit billing has been atrocious where their estimates aren’t ever close. Call the insurance company they said the office is billing incorrectly with the dual insurance we have. Then the topper is I had an appointment but because they tried to get ahold of me and I didn’t answer they gave my appointment I set up 6 months ago away. If my phone is lost or down (waiting for replacement) how do I know they were trying to get ahold of me. I’ve never had appointment for any of my doctors away because I didn’t answer a phone call.
